I can't believe it is the end of August already! How crazy how the summer flew by! I am already thinking about how many mums I need to buy for the front and back porch! So I know fall is fast approaching!
Well I am here today to show you a little something I did on my scrapbook page. I saw a post online where someone used up all their brads. I know most of us have a million of them in our stash. Well I also have a few and took the challange. But my challange to myself was to use at least 2 brads per page and at least 1 brad per 4x6 card when using divided page protectors.
This challange has worked out great I have to report. Just keep them right there above where you are working, where you can see them on your table or desk and you won't forget and you will love the look as well. Sometimes it is just the extra touch that you need to finish off a page!
So here is a page that I was working on where I used a piece of paper that I would have otherwise put in my stash and some brads.
On this page I used 4 brads. But here are the scraps I was talking about;
One little banner is a bit bigger than the other. That is intentional. It is not meant to be perfect. Just do it any way you want.
And if you are wondering where I got my prints made, it is through Origrami. This is the second order I had done. I was so excited about getting the prints where there is a map on the back, but that feature wasn't working so I had to get a plain back, which made it easier to scrapbook these photos.
And the mat under my scrapbook page is a Versamat. I love scrapbooking on it and it is for a 12x12 piece of paper and measures 13x13.
Well I hope I inspired some of you to use up those scraps and brads and get them on the pages. I love seeing the stuff I buy end up on pages where I can look at them over and over again!
Well happy scrapping and stamping! Thanks for stopping by!
